About Us

The O’Leary Funeral Service was established in 1927 by Emmett and Anne O’Leary and originally located on Main Street in downtown Canton. In the 1930’s it was relocated to it’s current location of 32 Park Street. In the 1950’s, Emmett was joined by his son, Bill, who carried on the family tradition, until his death in 1984.

In 1977, Joseph E. White joined the O’Leary Funeral Service staff, and upon the death of Bill, Joe began managing the firm and in 1985 purchased the funeral home from Bill’s wife Helen. The tradition of caring and compassionate service established over 80 years ago is still adhered to today.
